Last updated: September 23, 2026. This policy explains what Shorecraft collects through shorecraft.biz, why, who else sees it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information you give us
The only information this site asks for is what you type into a contact form: your name, email address, phone number and message. There are no user accounts on this site.
Form submissions are emailed to Shorecraft and are not stored in a database on this website. We use them to answer you and to keep a record of the inquiry.
2. Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, logs the ordinary technical details every web server records: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
Beyond that, nothing measures you unless you say yes. Analytics is switched off until you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm) to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. It does not identify you and is not used for analytics or advertising, so it is not covered by the cookie banner. The site's theme also sets one first-party cookie, trx_addons_is_retina, which only records whether your screen is high-resolution so images load at the right size; it holds no personal information.
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device. If you opt in, this third party may set cookies or similar identifiers:
- Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PGM2V0MBCD), to count visits and see which pages people look at. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and Google Consent Mode is set to denied until you opt in.
If you refuse, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. The site works exactly the same either way.
A few pages include content served directly by another company, described in section 4: the Google map on our home and contact pages, and videos on some portfolio pages. That company receives your IP address when the content loads and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
4. Service providers
These companies process information on our behalf, only as needed to run the site:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the Turnstile check that protects our forms from automated abuse. Turnstile is used instead of a traditional CAPTCHA and does not track you across sites.
- Resend delivers the email generated by our contact forms.
- Google Maps provides the map of our office on the home and contact pages. When you open either page, your browser loads the map directly from Google.
- Vimeo hosts some of the videos shown on our portfolio pages; your browser loads those players from Vimeo.
- Instagram posts shown on this site are copies delivered from this website, so viewing them does not send your information to Meta. Clicking a post takes you to Instagram.
- Google, only if you opt in to analytics as described above.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How long we keep it
Form emails live in our business email account and are kept as long as they are useful to answer you and to keep a record of the inquiry. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Delaware (DPDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Virginia, Colorado and other states with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you and why
- get a copy of it
- correct information that is wrong
- ask us to delete it
- opt out of targeted advertising, of any sale or sharing of personal information, and of profiling
- not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 9 and tell us what you would like. We will verify your identity by replying to the email address we already hold or by asking for enough detail to match your request to our records. We answer within the time the applicable law allows, normally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent.
To withdraw consent for analytics immediately, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the GDPR; the lawful basis for form processing is our legitimate interest in answering you, and for analytics it is your consent.
7. Children
This site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will say so on this page.
